Holiday Open House

When: Saturday, November 27th, 1-4 p.m. Come and go.

Join Heartland Farm for this special holiday season come and go event!

Take a drive out to the Farm for our Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Celebrate Small Business Saturday by shopping locally in our non-profit gift shop featuring winter accessories made from super-warm alpaca fleece along with our unique selection of homemade and resale goods.

Get to know our herd of adorable alpacas. Learn about these interesting creatures and their incredibly warm, soft, fluffy fleece. Kids activities available. Alpaca walking sessions every hour. This event is outside, so dress for the weather.

Admission is free. No registration required.

Holiday Cookies and Crafts

When: Saturday, December 11th, 1-4 p.m. 

Join us for a Holiday Cookies and Crafts workshop on Saturday, December 11th form 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Make and decorate your own alpaca-shaped cookies – and receive a free, alpaca cookie cutter. Create a unique, holiday craft using natural materials from Heartland Farm. This is an indoor event and is limited, therefore, to vaccinated guests. Please bring a mask. Limit 20 guests. Registration is for both sessions. Fee: $10.

Heartland Farm is an oasis of peace located an easy 14 miles west of Great Bend. Take W. Barton County Rd (10th Street) west for 13 miles. When the pavement ends, continue west on gravel (Ave. X) for one mile. Turn south on CR 390 for ½ mile. Heartland Farm will be on the west side of the road.
