Hedge House

Heartland Farm’s spacious Guest House holds five bedrooms with two living spaces, offering comfortable accommodations for visitors. The main floor consists of an open living, dining and kitchen area. Two bedrooms (one double and one twin) are located on this floor along with the main bath. The remaining three bedrooms (one queen, one twin, and three twins) along with a bath and sitting room are located in downstairs. An outside ramp makes Hedge House handicapped accessible.

Tucked away into the privacy of Heartland Farm’s pasture, next to the Dry Walnut Creek, lies the Strawbale Hermitage. It is the perfect place for real quiet, solitude, and communion with nature. The layout of the strawbale consists of an open living area with a full size bed with a pull out, sitting area, sink, hot plate and a table for dining. There is also a composting toilet. Simple meals can be prepared using the kitchen. Since the Hermitage does not have running water, bathing can take place at the Hedge Guest House.
