Hedge House, with its five bedrooms, offers comfortable space for visitors. The main floor consists of an open living, dining and kitchen area. Two bedrooms (one double and one twin) are located on this floor along with the main bath. The remaining three bedrooms (one queen, one twin, and three twins) along with a bath and sitting room are located in the basement. An outside ramp makes Hedge House handicapped accessible.
The Hermitage, constructed of straw bales, is located in a more secluded area of the property and is the perfect place for real quiet and solitude. It consists of an open living area with a full size bed, sitting area and a table for dining. There is also a composting toilet. Simple meals can be prepared there and other meals arranged at the main house. Since the hermitage does not have running water, bathing can take place at one of the other guest homes.
Beech House is a rustic, heated cabin that is single room with a kitchenette, including a small refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee pot and a hot plate for preparing small meals. There is a double bed, a shower and a composting toilet.

No one is excluded from sharing the experience of Heartland Farm because of financial limitations. Bartering of contributed services as well as extended time payment may be pre-arranged. We welcome those who are able to offer more to do so as a way to offset those who are otherwise unable to afford the gift of time away at the Farm.
