Heartland Farm’s Peace Camp is a 5-day day camp for campers ages 8 to 11. Campers enjoy a fun and educational camp experience on our 80-acre farmstead with its trails and pasture, pond and prairies, gardens, farm animals, and arts studio. Peace Camp offers campers a unique experience while engaging with other campers and with Earth.
Campers and counselors share the message of peace: peace with self, peace with others, peace with Earth. This year’s camp will focus on COMMUNITY.
Campers should come ready to have fun and to learn through games, arts and crafts, farm chores, farm-cooked meals, and more!
Activities at Peace Camp
- Outdoor activities
- Simple farm chores like feeding the alpacas and harvesting vegetables
- and more!
The campers are served a healthy meal at noon and snacks in the afternoon.
