Celebrate our Revitalized Prairie Labyrinth!

This World Labyrinth Day, visit Heartland Farm for a celebration of our refurbished prairie labyrinth and those who worked so hard to revitalize it!

Starting at the Farm’s pavilion to honor the labyrinth and the volunteers who restored it, the program then will move out to the labyrinth, located on the Farm’s nature trails. Those attending will learn how to walk a labyrinth and will be able to begin their own journey into the winding .6-mile in/.6 mile out path of Heartland Farm’s labyrinth.

Farm volunteers Vaughn Goerl and Mandy Charles undertook a badly-needed restoration of the labyrinth. Starting from scratch, they replotted the pathways and turns to again reflect the design of the 12th century Chartres Cathedral in Chartres, France.

World Labyrinth Day is a day designated worldwide to walk labyrinths for peace and unity – a perfect day to reintroduce a unique and integral part of Heartland Farm!

Limited transportation to and from the labyrinth and the pavilion will be available for those who need it. Finger labyrinths will be available.

Heartland Farm is located 13 miles west of Great Bend at 1049 CR 390. For directions, please see heartlandfarm-ks.org/directions/.
