Heartland Farm Teen Peace Camp 2023

Spend a weekend under the stars at Heartland Farm!
Camp under the starry sky and enjoy a bit of star gazing. Several meteor showers will be occurring with excellent viewing with the Farm’s inky black skies! Participate in activities like swimming and fishing, telling stories around the campfire, and studying nature and your place within it. Do some chores and hang out with our herd of alpacas!
Girls’ Camp takes place from 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 14 to 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 16.
Boys’ Camp takes place from 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 21 to 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 23.
You will need:
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Hat
- Old, good shoes
- 2 days of clothes
- Sleepwear
- Flashlight
- Pillow and sleeping bag/bed roll/sleeping pad
- Swimsuit and towel
- Toothbrush and other personal items
- Snacks to share
- Cell phones will only be available in an emergency
Space is VERY limited, so register now. Registrations are due by July 7.
FEE: $125 per camper. Includes Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday brunch. Campers must have a signed Parental Consent Form on file prior to the start of camp.
Full and partial scholarships are available for camp fees for those in need. Scholarships are provided through a grant from the Glenn and Elaine Mull Family Donor Advised Fund/Golden Belt Community Foundation. Contact us at hfarminfo@oppeace.org or 620-923-4585 for more information.
