COVID-19 Update

In accordance with Kansas Governor Laura Kelly’s Executive Order No. 20-16, Kansans are being asked to stay at home until at least April 19th unless engaged in activities determined to be essential as laid out in the Order.

In order to comply with the Governor’s Order and to help contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19, Heartland Farm has cancelled all events through the end of June. All Farm buildings are closed to the public and tours of the Farm will not be available until further notice.

Two exceptions to this closure follow:

  1. We are currently selling our eggs by appointment only. To purchase eggs, please call 620-923-4585 to schedule an appointment. Bring either cash in the exact amount of your purchase or a check. We will not make change. We would prefer you wear a mask when picking up your eggs. When you arrive at the Farm, pull up and stop on the drive at the main house. Someone will bring your eggs to your car.
  2. Because one of the essential activities provided as an exception to the Order is “Engaging in an outdoor activity, provided individuals maintain a distance of six feet from one another and abide by the 10-person limitation on gathering size,” Heartland Farm can continue to provide healing through retreat, solitude, and exercise.

Since we are a spiritual retreat center with ample outdoor space and several miles of walking trails, know that if you are in need of open space to reconnect with Earth and the Divine, of bird song and spring growth to feed your spirit, of solitary exercise to relieve the stress of these trying and uncertain times, or of silent meditation offered in our labyrinth, you can still find solace and rejuvenation at Heartland Farm.

We ask that you call us at 620-923-4585 in advance to schedule your time at the Farm and that you practice social distancing at all times. Contact with Heartland Farm staff will be minimal. ALL BUILDINGS – including the Gift Shop – are closed; however, we will continue to take and ship Gift Shop orders via email or phone.

Like many profit and non-profit entities, the spread of COVID-19 and the resulting cancellations and closures have had an impact on Heartland Farm’s finances. If you feel led to, please consider supporting the Farm with a one-time or monthly donation. Donate online at https://37371.thankyou4caring.org/heartland-…/heartland-farm or mail your donation to Heartland Farm, 1049 CR 390, Pawnee Rock, KS 67567.

We are all in this together. We are praying for you.

In peace,
the staff of Heartland Farm
